Deitschland Farm has been utilizing the talents of Border collies in managing the cattle herd since 1996 when the Millers purchased their first female - Bonnie Greer - the matriarch of their Border collie family. These are working dogs and also faithful companions. Although Bonnie went to greener pastures in November of 2008 at age 13, her progeny continues to work the Herefords she loved to herd.

Thanks to the McCallus and Bomgardner families for purchasing Daisy & Chloe! They celebrated their first birthday on July 2, 2010!
Congrats to Chloe for winning 2nd prize at the Mifflinburg Pet Parade over the July 4th holiday. A great way to celebrate your first birthday!
Our Border Collie Line-Up:
TRI-BOY - our favorite when it comes time to moving cows with young calves. Steady and deliberate.
NELLIE GREER - no nonsense tolerated by Emilie's Border collie who puts manners on weanlings and yearlings.
BART - our standing stud, black and white rough coat with intense eye.
PENNIE GREER - loving mother to two litters of exceptional pups. Tri-color, medium coat.
MACIE GREER - our most recent addition at Deitschland Farm from Pennie's 2009 litter. She has a great eye for cattle and is ready to learn the ropes from her aunt Nellie.
